We are a welcoming, social community connecting LGBT+ golfers and allies across Sussex. Whether you have played for decades or are just picking up a club, our fairways are open to everyone.
Our community and ethos
Rainbow Golfers Sussex was created to provide a relaxed, inclusive space where anyone can enjoy the game without pressure or prejudice. We believe golf is best enjoyed together, blending healthy recreation with authentic social connections across local Sussex courses.
All abilities and allies welcome
There are no handicap requirements to join our group. From scratch players to complete novices, we pair golfers thoughtfully so everyone has a rewarding round. LGBT+ players, friends, and supportive allies are all warmly encouraged to get involved.
How to join our social rounds
Getting involved is simple and flexible. We organise regular friendly meetups, 9-hole twilight sessions, and weekend 18-hole fixtures across the county. Reach out to register your interest, meet our organisers, and join us for our next gathering.
